Hartford Community Dance (HCD) - contra, Cajun/zydeco, swing, and waltz dances in the Hartford CT area

Two Mondays per month: Sally Joughin hosts Celtic/contra slow jams at her house in New Haven (7:45pm, near I-91 Exit 6). The jammers play mainly by ear and take turns teaching each other tunes. Please call Sally at 203-787-5262 for schedule and directions.
Wednesdays: Irish jam session with fiddler P.V. O'Donnell, 7:30-10:00pm, at City Steam Brewery Cafe, 942 Main Street, Hartford, 860-525-1600. Fast and deafeningly noisy.
Third Thursday: Julie Sorcek runs a jam the third Thursday of each month, from 7 to 9 PM, at St. John's Episcopal Church, Washington Avenue, Sandy Hook, CT. Details are on her webpage.
Third Fridays: Traditional Irish music seisiun (jam), 7:30-10pm, at the Meriden AOH lounge, Melville Avenue, Meriden, CT. Musicians, singers and dancers are most welcome. For more info, please contact Terry Sullivan.
Second Saturdays: HCD contra dance jam session, 5:30-7:30pm, at the American Legion Post, 275 Main Street, Old Wethersfield.
