HCD sponsors contra, Cajun/zydeco, swing, and waltz dances in the Hartford, CT area. HCD dances are smoke and alcohol free.  Beginners are more than welcome.  You don't need a partner - Come alone or bring a friend.

January 21 Cajun/Zydeco Dance Cancelled Due to the impending snowstorm, the Town of Wethersfield has put a parking ban in place for Saturday, and so we are cancelling our dance.  We regret the inconvenience and hope to see you again at our February dance.

Bad Weather / Emergency Cancellations Please check our webpage or toll-free number (1-888-423-0423) the day of the event - after 3pm for evening events, and after noon for Sunday waltz events
